The former St Peter’s School Marlborough has been empty and unused for some years; it is now in a sad and dilapidated state. Despite this our clients aim to acquire the Grade II Listed building and to put it into good and substantial repair ready for use as a boutique hotel and restaurant.
We have dedicated a three-man team to survey the various buildings and to prepare a schedule of repairs and improvements consistent with the Listed status. The aim is to use traditional materials and techniques to preserve the building and associated features.
Preliminary survey results have revealed widespread dry rot, defective roof coverings, decayed external joinery and signs of structural movement.
