This 3-bedroom 1960’s end terrace house was built on a sloping site with significant fill beneath the raised ground floor slab. The selling agent made our client aware of floor slab settlement issues and supplied an engineer’s report to substantiate repairs that were allegedly complete. Our client remained concerned and wanted a full independent survey with specific comment on the floor.
The survey revealed shortcomings in the work to the floor together with other significant issues, including the parapet details, the external walls, the first floor construction, the garage roof and entrance steps.
