This village restaurant, located in a Grade II Listed building, comprised a restaurant of 115 m², trade kitchen, cellar, stores, and six staff bedrooms with associated domestic accommodation.

Our client was proposing to take a 10-year FRI lease plus pay a substantial premium.

The survey revealed significant external and internal dilapidation; inadequate fire precautions; old heating and electrical installations along with various other shortcomings.  In view of the condition we advised our client to give very careful consideration to the proposition before agreeing terms; and to do everything possible to limit future liability.
