Jamie joined us on the 14th January as a building surveyor. He has hit the ground running with a number of new projects ranging from the alteration and improvement of an 1805 farmhouse, the investigation of defects to an 1840 cottage roof, the preparation of contract documents and a specification for the refurbishment of another cottage parts of which date from the 1700’s, to the investigation of structural movement in a 1960’s school roof. Jamie has previous private practice experience but has also been in local government as well as spending a number of years with Serco at the Defence Academy, Shrivenham. Jamie was particularly attracted to us because of the variety of work, the opportunity to take the lead and the flexibility of the working hours.
